Spending time with family, skiing and catching up on sleep is the best way to spend Christmas in my opinion. I love being in Northern Michigan since I can walk around the small towns of Petoskey and Harbor Springs checking out the local shops and drinking the best coffee not from a chain. I grew up going there year after year every summer and weekend's in the winter. It was our getaway and just full of magic. That feeling of home. They have a couple places to go skiing up there. Our favorite is Boyne Highlands mostly cause they have the best hot coco. But they also have Boyne Mountain and Knobs Knob. Plenty of options to keep us busy.
